Is there a charge to use the Escort directory service?
Currently AdultScribe does NOT charge to use the escort directory service, this is one of our sponsor driven websites.
Can I remove my account?
Sure! Removing your account is simple. Please follow the simple instructions here:
- Login to your account.
- Once you have logged in hover over the "My Account" menu and click on "Close Account"
- Provide a reason for closing your account (Optional) and click on "Yes, Close My Account".
- Once your account has been closed you will be automatically signed out. You will no longer be able to sign in with this account and you will not be able to reinstate it.
I can't remember my password, can I recover it?
Recovering your password is simple. Goto the login page and enter your e-mail address under the "Recover password" section.
What are the requirements for uploading a photo?
When uploading a photo for approval you must make sure to follow these guidelines:
- Photo must be less than 3MB.
- We only accept GIF, JPG and PNG images.
- The subject in the photo MUST be over the age of 18.
Why aren't my updates appearing on the site?
Due to the high traffic on our network we usually cache our data to make it faster for our users to access. We update the sites every 5 minutes so if you made a change to a profile and you don't see it right away this is probably the reason.
Can I hide an escort profile from public viewing?
Hiding an escort profile is simple. Please follow the following steps:
- Login to your account.
- On the my account page you will see a list of escort profiles, click on the button "Profile Visible - Click to hide" on the profile you would like to hide.
- Please give our network 5-10 mins to update on all our sites.
I signed up for the wrong account type, can I change it?
Your email address is unique for authentication purposes in our system, if for some reason you signed up for the wrong account type (Escort or User) simply contact us and we can convert your account for you. No worries!
Why isn't my profile visible to the public?
There are many reasons your profile your reason is not available to the public:
- No approved photo: Your profile must have an APPROVED photo, if you have uploaded a photo and it has not yet been approved your profile will not appear to users.
- No location(s): Atleast one location must be specified.
- Delay in network: It usually takes within 5-10 minutes for any changes to your profile to take affect, we do this to make our network faster (see Why aren't my updates appearing on the site?).
- Marked as hidden: If your profile is marked as hidden to the public it will not display (obviously!).
- Deleted: If your profile has been deleted by yourself or our staff members it will not display (again obviously).
- Temorarly disabled: If a member of our staff finds a problem with your profile or if you are in violation of our terms of service, we will disable your profile until you fix the issues.
Due to the number of contraints a profile needs to abide by in order to gain public visibility we created a "profile status" option. To view the status of an escort profile simply visit your homepage and view the column "Status".
